Stables

In our Stable range we offer standalone stables in both a Premium and a Standard range. We are also able to offer and build interior stabling for existing buildings.

Our Premium range

Wall Construction
70mm x 45mm kiln dried tanalised timber framing spaced at 600mm centres.

Wall Cladding
Selected tanalised 125mm x 16mm shiplap boarding fixed with rust resisting nails.

Roof Construction
Purlins are 90mm x 45mm spaced at 600mm centres held in place by joist holders on prefabricated trusses, then covered in black onduline roof sheets to include 1 clear sheet per box. (Other roof cladding is available).

Doors
Stable openings are 2185mm high and 1200mm wide. Bottom doors are 1200mm high, 1200mm wide and 50mm thick. Lined with 18mm 5 Strand plywood boarding and include an anti chew strip to the top and heavy duty galvanised fittings to include 600mm reversible hinges, 200mm pad bolt, kick over latches and cabin hooks. Top doors are ledged and braced and can be fully lined if required.

Window
One 600mm x 600mm opening perspex window protected by a metal grill.

Kickboards
Loose boxes are lined to 1200mm with 18mm 5 strand plywood boarding and can be lined to the eaves if required. Tack rooms and hay stores are not lined as standard. Alternative types of kickboard are available upon request.

Ventilation
Louvred ventilation grilles are fitted to each gable end.

Canopy/Overhang
Front overhangs to 1200mm and can be underlined as an optional extra.

Guttering
Half round black guttering and down pipe to fronts (not field shelters). Rear guttering available on request.

Height
To eaves measure 2400mm and to ridge 3150mm, not including brickwork.

Talk Grills
Can be fitted as an optional extra

Bolting Down
10 of 10mm x 160mm concrete fixing bolts per box.

Our Standard Range (offering the same materials and build quality) is available. These offer the same specification of stable but with thinner kickboards, 900mm overhang, lower stable height (2770mm to eaves) and no top door is supplied. The standard range offers approximately a 20% discount on the Premium Range prices.
